Description

Self-welding high-voltage insulating tape up to 35 kV, a cold-welding insulating tape made of polyisobutylene, provided with an easily peelable plastic release liner.

Welds after processing under slight tensile stress to form a solid air- and watertight rubber layer, extremely stretchable (elongation at break 600 %) and conformable, permanently elastic, compatible with all materials for insulation and sheathing, wide application temperature range, very good electrical properties (esp. dielectric strength), UV-, ozone-, weather- and aging-resistant.

Ideal for sealing, splicing, insulating and repairing current-carrying cables, mainly for voltage insulation of power cables up to 17 kV, very good repair properties even on heavy rubber hose lines, for waterproof sealing of electrical connections and terminals (e.g.

TV satellite dishes), for fixing cables outdoors, corrosion protection of metal parts, also excellently suited for emergency repairs to radiators, water and engine hoses, vacuum cleaner hoses, drainage basins and pipes. Execution in the color black, 0.5 mm thick: WxL: 25 mmx10 m.
