Self-welding high-voltage insulating tape up to 17 kV, a cold-welding insulating tape made of polyisobutylene, provided with an easily removable plastic release liner.

Welded after processing under slight tension to form a solid airtight and watertight rubber layer, extremely elastic (elongation at break 600 %) and conformable, permanently elastic, compatible with all materials for insulation and sheathing, wide application temperature range, very good electrical properties (in particular dielectric strength), UV, ozone, weather and ageing resistant.

Ideal for sealing, splicing, insulating and repairing live cables, mainly for voltage insulation of power cables up to 17 kV, very good repair properties even on heavy rubber hose lines, for waterproof sealing of electrical connections and connections (e.g.

TV satellite dishes), for fastening cables outdoors, corrosion protection of metal parts, also ideal for emergency repairs to radiators, water and motor hoses, vacuum cleaner hoses, drainage basins and pipes. Available in black, 0.5 mm thick: WxL: 19 mmx10 m.
