Hydraulic presses

Showing 1-18 10 views

Hydraulic presses serve pressing, compressing and mechanical part machining work in repair shops, car garages and technical maintenance facilities. The current group includes FERVI models with load capacities ranging from 4 tons to 45 tons. These cover tasks from removing and fitting small bearings to heavy pressing of shafts and large bearings.

The equipment in this range uses hand pump drive, two-speed pump drive or a combination with pneumatic assistance. This lets users choose an operating method that matches the scale and frequency of the work. The H-frame structure, laterally sliding cylinder and removable rotating table provide flexibility when working with parts of different sizes and shapes.

Titania imports and distributes genuine FERVI models, with clear origin documentation and warranty according to the manufacturer's standard.

Hydraulic presses in the FERVI pressing equipment range

Hydraulic presses in this group cover pressing, compressing and mechanical part machining work. The FERVI models available run from 4 tonnes up to 100 tonnes of pressing force. Workshops use them to remove and fit bearings, press shafts, bushings and pins. Drive options include hand pump, two-speed pump, pneumatic-assisted pump and electric pump. Frame types range from small bench units to tall H-frame floor machines suited to heavier parts.

Bench-scale work starts with P001-04, which delivers 4 tonnes of force with a 125 mm piston stroke. The same 4-tonne machine also appears as FERVI P001-04, with fully removable components for easier transport. Both serve removal and fitting of small bearings, bushings and precision mechanical parts. The 125 mm stroke lets the operator adjust pressing depth to suit the part on the table.

Floor-standing models with manual and pneumatic drive

Floor machines handle larger parts and higher forces than bench units. This part of the range uses H-frame construction, with the work table positioned between two uprights. Hand pumps suit occasional pressing jobs, while two-speed pumps shorten the approach travel before the load builds. Pneumatic assistance reduces the physical effort needed on the lever. Choice depends on how often the shop presses parts and how heavy those parts are.

The 10-tonne P001-10 uses an H-frame with a hand pump and reaches 10,000 kg of pressing force, aimed at repair and maintenance garages. Stepping up, P001-20 reaches 20,000 kg and adds a laterally moving cylinder. That movement lets the operator position the ram over the part without repeatedly shifting the workpiece on the table.

For heavier and more complex pressing, P001-30 combines a two-speed pump with a moving cylinder. It suits mechanical workshops, vehicle repair garages and industrial settings. At the top of the manual range, P001-45 works as a hand-operated shop press with a pneumatic servo pump. The pneumatic control assists the operator while the hand lever keeps direct control over the press cycle.

Pneumatic foot-operated option

Some pressing tasks require both hands free to hold or align the workpiece. The 75-tonne P001-75 addresses that with foot pedal control and a pneumatic-assisted pump. Maximum pressing force reaches 75,000 kg. The piston assembly sits on a carriage, so it travels across the crossbeam to line up with the part. This arrangement suits shops that press large shafts and bearings on a regular basis.

Electric pump presses for heavy production work

Electric pump models remove manual pumping from the cycle, which matters when pressing work runs continuously. These vertical frame machines use single-lever control and carry the piston assembly on a carriage. The work table raises and lowers using a chain mechanism, so repositioning heavy tables takes less effort. Power supply determines the model: 230 V single phase for shops on standard mains, and 400 V three phase for workshops with industrial supply.

At 75 tonnes, P001-75EP230V runs a single-phase electric pump with a maximum force of 75,000 kg. The three-phase version, P001-75EP400V, delivers the same 75,000 kg rating for shops already wired for 400 V. Both use lever control and chain-operated table adjustment. The moving piston carriage lets the operator align the ram with parts placed anywhere along the crossbeam.

The 100-tonne class covers the heaviest jobs in this range. P001-100EP230V belongs to the vertical frame electric pump line, rated at 100,000 kg, for workshops and garages handling heavy components. The three-phase variant P001-100EP400V serves shops with a 400 V supply. Both share one-hand lever control, a piston assembly on a carriage and a chain-lifted work table.

Press frames and accessories

Not every purchase involves a complete machine. A frame on its own lets a workshop pair existing hydraulic equipment with a rated structure. P001-12 provides a 12-tonne press frame standing 1600 mm tall, aimed at mechanical workshops, vehicle garages and similar environments. Height and load rating should be checked against the cylinder and the parts being pressed before the frame is put into service.

Pressing accessories complete the setup. The 0485 pin set contains 8 pins with a 24.7 mm head size, intended for 20 T and 30 T presses. Gross weight is 5.22 kg and packaging measures 320 x 110 x 175 h mm. Pins transfer force to bearings, bushings and pins without marking the surrounding surfaces, and they match the two mid-range capacities noted above.

Manual arbor and lever presses

Alongside hydraulic machines, this collection includes hand-powered bench presses. Arbor presses use a gear and ratchet mechanism, so pulling the lever multiplies the applied force. They suit pressing bearings onto shafts, removing races from pulleys and fitting pins. Lever presses handle punching, marking and riveting on thin sheet metal. Both types mount on a bench and need no hydraulic fluid, air supply or electrical connection.

The ratchet arbor press P029-2 reaches 15,000 N and accepts workpieces up to 190 mm. Its larger counterpart P029-3 reaches 25,000 N with capacity up to 290 mm. Both include a removable revolving table for positioning parts. Gear-driven mechanical press P022 uses a ratchet system and comes in three options.

For sheet metal work, P028-07 produces 1,500 N of punching force with a 50 mm stroke and accepts workpieces up to 230 mm high. The larger P028-14 produces 2,000 N with a 70 mm stroke and takes parts up to 275 mm. Both use a force-multiplying gear mechanism and a return spring to lift the punch head.

How to select and operate safely

Start by calculating the force the heaviest routine job requires, then choose a capacity above that figure. Next, check the workspace: bench models fit small benches, while H-frame machines need floor area and headroom. Match the drive to work frequency, since electric pumps suit repeated cycles and hand pumps suit occasional use. Finally, confirm the available power or compressed air supply before ordering an electric or pneumatic model.

During use, centre the part on the table and support it evenly across the table supports. Use pressing pins sized for the bore rather than improvised spacers. Keep hands clear of the ram travel path and release pressure before repositioning the workpiece. Check hydraulic connections, hoses and fluid level regularly, and inspect the frame for deformation.
